Hyatt Place San Francisco / Downtown

I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back the next time I’m in San Fran! I actually booked this hotel because I couldn’t stay at the main conference hotel, and it ended up feeling like a hidden gem; I liked it so much more. This is such a cute hotel with charming décor (loved the Halloween theme!), a convenient location, and great amenities. My room was comfortable and easy to settle into—the shower with the extender was a nice touch, the AC worked perfectly, and the mini fridge was very handy. I found the stay very quiet as well. The staff were warm, friendly, and quick to help with any issues. I wish I had caught their names to mention them here! The grab-and-go market was convenient, and I appreciated that the hotel never felt overly busy; it made for a calm, pleasant atmosphere when relaxing in the lobby or heading out to my conference. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, and I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage after checkout while finishing up my conference before my flight. Overall, a wonderful, comfortable stay that felt like a true find in the city. Highly recommend!

Was here for a medical conference and then stayed for a bit of San Francisco. Room was clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. Well above and beyond for being accommodating!!!! Vagish at the front is AMAZING at customer service. He remembered me by name, always checked on us as we passed by and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Solange was also so great!! Proper try is clean, sooo clean, great location and well equipped. Has taken me from being a Loyal Hilton girl to a Loyal Hyatt customer!!!

Had a very nice stay recently. The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very kind. I felt safe and my floor was very quiet. The complimentary breakfast was unlike anything I've ever experienced. A spread of a variety of foods and the coffee delicious. Very close to Oracle park and a doable walk to the Chase Center. My only complaint is that the floors weren't as clean as I had hoped, but that seems standard of most hotels. They just don't seem to shampoo the carpet often. The carpet in my room was particularly dusty in multiple areas so I'm unsure if they even vacuumed.

My room was excellent. Comfy bed. Very clean room. Friendly staff. My reservation included breakfast and it was great. Free coffee and water is a welcome touch. Only a block away from a supermarket, the stadium, and local spots. I was here on business and the Wifi was also excellent when I needed to take calls. The only reason I knocked a star is my room was facing the street and it's a very busy street. Noisy traffic, garbage trucks and pedestrians was pretty annoying at night. Would have appreciated better sound proofing overall.

The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is tasty and costs $14 per person. I highly recommend this place. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the overall atmosphere is pleasant. I would gladly stay here again. There is also a convenient on-site parking garage available for $26 per day.

We loved our stay at Hyatt Place San Francisco Downtown during our California vacation. As World of Hyatt members, we really appreciated being able to check in early—it made it so much easier to drop off our luggage and head out to explore the city. Simon at the front desk was an absolute standout. He was cheerful, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help, offering great guidance on what to see and how to get around. The hotel’s location made everything even better—public transportation was close by and incredibly convenient for getting around San Francisco. Overall, a wonderful stay and a great start to our trip.

Such a great experience. The tall gentleman and Ana the night crew are the best! Had a long drive and Ana made the check in so easy. She was so kind and very welcoming. The tall gentleman was also very sweet and helpful. They gave us waters and it was very sweet. The hotel is nice and clean. My only feed back is that the rooms could be looked at. Lots of black scuffs and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed.
